Michael wrote this Wednesday night:
Wednesday’s word for the day is connections. Today Mrs. Sloan met very interesting nurses.
She was teaching a class about nursing from a Christian worldview. Today we
started the day with a laugh at chapel because we were playing a Bible game. My
mom painted animals in the playroom for the patients to enjoy. Some of the kids
were dismissed from the Cure hospital today, while new patients came in to have
surgery tomorrow. Today I helped my mom paint but I was a little bit messy.
Around 10 am we went shopping for gifts and the people were wanting me to buy
their “good junk”. It was fun but also
overwhelming to shop that way. After we came back from shopping I went to the
Olympic youth development center across the street from the hospital to play soccer,
that was hectic. Scallywag is a cat that
is kicked out of the house for the night.
